The Leonids, Live!

"At 2 am Central Standard Time on November 17th, weather permitting, NASA scientists will launch a 10ft-diameter latex weather balloon from the Marshall Space Flight Center. The payload will include a CCD video camera with an image intensifier and a GPS receiver. The balloon will spend up to 4 hours aloft and reach a maximum altitude of 100,000 ft. High above the clouds and far away from city lights the view should be spectacular." This show will be broadcast live on the Net. For those with broadband access this should be quite a show!
