the press is still clinging to this clonaid clan. they're not a company, they havent cloned anything, they refuse to let their claims be tested, and their claims have been dismissed entirely.

the press is just feeding into what they want: publicity for that whacked group the two employees belong to.

You know... when i first heard clonaid's claim on the godbox (aka TV) i thought to myself: "hey!-didn't they make totl.net's 'cult of the week' a while back?" The ensueing 'proof' of their cloning success did nothing but lament this initial reaction...

Sure enough [totl.net]. Now who the fuck is dumb enough to actually think that clonaid not being a "real"(tm) company is some kind of news?

Of course... No-one would want to be legally tied to a company like that for liability/criminal prosecution reasons... If they are serious, (obviously very unlikely) I would not expect to see anything other than this.

These guys are hilarious. My favorite thing is the "Embryonic cell fusion redefined: The new RMX2010" [clonaid.com]. It doesn't do anything special [nature.com], but costs nearly $10,000. My question is, though, if they don't have any employees, they certainly have been productive with this machine, the website, and press coverage, releases, etc.

Clonaid is the best profit maker since I started buying real estate with no money down. I work from home and set my own hours. Unlike most other MLMs, you won't have to find "suckers" to make your profits. Just clone new customers! This is the only pyramid scheme where you make your own bricks.

4 out of 5 of me recommend Clonaid for patients who need clones.

Just pointing out that lack of a management structure like that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The entire AmigaOS was written by one person, wasn't it?
