Oh do get a life. He's a highly respected academic, having worked for years in the UK and US. These lectures were broadcast on Radio 4 about a month ago, and believe me, his accent is what the BBC calls "RP" - Received Pronounciation. I don't suppose you'd pass muster, would you?

Fascinating series

I've been listening to these lectures while I work and I must say they're absolutely fascinating. The guy has a great voice and sense of humour, and the question-and-answer sessions at the end are surprisingly intelligent and just as interesting as the talk itself.
