Submission + - OpenStack is not enough for Rackspace to compete with AWS (networkcomputing.com)

hal9000(jr) writes: If Rackspace and Openstack are commoditzing cloud computing, how is it that Rackspace costs substantially more than Amazon? If VMware comes out with it's own cloud, is Rackspace doomed to be a high priced boutique cloud service?
