pocock writes "FOSDEM is this weekend, and leaders of free/open communications projects such as Jitsi, Lumicall, StatusNet, BuddyCloud, FreedomBox and Kamailio are coming together in a panel discussion to answer criticisms about the perceived lack of effective solutions for communication and social networking. In an interview published by FOSDEM, Pocock explains that there are various motivations for change and reasons to be optimistic."
