Anonymous Apcoheur writes "In a recently disclosed result, scientist from CERN and INFN of the OPERA Collaboration announced the first direct observation of a chameleon-like behaviour of the muon neutrino. After three years of continual smashing the beam on a block of concrete, delivery by CERN, the detectors located at Gran Sasso observed the oscillation from a muon neutrino to the tau neutrino, as predicted by the Standard Model. As this was a single-event, so all the other neutrinoes likely travelled to the outer space to find a new home. The other observation might be, that the Standard Model is wrong (another recent proof is here). What now?"
