    I dont see banner ads on /. thanks to adblock. Not only are they annoying but they mess up the format sometimes (when they put them on the right side instead of bottom). i also like how the last is the only time they acknowledge that they are parts of the same company as tg.

Anyone know what the previous record was for the number of stories in a day. If they continue at the current pace (1 story every 4 minutes), they'll have 95 more by midnight (EST).

SnoozAlert disappears from the available items !!!

At $749.99 it's a bit much, but it's a great idea for a product if they can make it cheeply in the $50 area, ideal time of year to release would be just before fathers day :)

It's not a "conspiracy." It's just shameless. Really, what's the difference between this and "product placing" Coke ads in movies, or ESPN ads in video games?

One faux story using ThinkGeek site would be fine, but this is a crapflood. I hope your Sharper-Image-wannabe parent company cashes in the extra traffic today, Slashdot, because you sold out your dignity for a few very cheap gags.
